Margarita Pizza:
1x Massimo’s par baked crust
⅓ cup pizza or regula tomato sauce
Olive oil
1 ball of burrata cheese
8-10 fresh basil leaves
Nutella & Banana Sweet Pizza with Coconut:
1x fresh pizza dough ball
¾ cup Nutella
⅓ cup sweetened shredded coconut, toasted
1/2 banana, sliced
Optional mascarpone drizzle:
3 tbsp mascarpone cheese
2 tbsp icing sugar
1 tbsp milk (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of cinnamon
Salami, green olive and jalapeno pizza:
1x Massimo’s par baked crust
⅓ cup pizza sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
6-8 genoa salami slices
¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
1 small jalapeno, seeded and sliced thin
3-4 tbsp sliced green olives
To make the margarita pizza:
- Preheat the oven 450F and place a pizza stone in the oven to warm up as it heats (if you don’t have a pizza stone, use a baking sheet).
- Spread the tomato sauce on the par baked crust.
- Bake for 8-10 minustes until the crust is golden brown.
- Once the crust is cooked, remove from the oven and break the ball of burrata cheese over the pizza. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, salt, and drizzle of olive oil. Cut into 6-8 slices and serve immediately.
To make the sweet pizza:
- Make mascarpone drizzle by whisking together the mascarpone cheese, icing sugar, milk, vanilla extract and pinch of cinnamon. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven 450F and place a pizza stone in the oven to warm up as it heats (if you don’t have a pizza stone, use a baking sheet).
- Form the fresh pizza dough into an 8 inch circle.
- When the oven is preheated, cook the crust for 8-10 minutes until the crust is just turning golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Spread the nutella on the cooked pizza crust followed by slices of banana, toasted coconut shavings and the mascarpone drizzle (if desired).
- Cut into slices and serve immediately.
To make the Salami, green olive and jalapeno pizza –
- Preheat the oven 450F and place a pizza stone in the oven to warm up as it heats (if you don’t have a pizza stone, use a baking sheet).
- Spread the tomato sauce on the par baked crust.
- Cover the sauce with 1 cup of the shredded cheese followed by evenly layering the salami, red onions, jalapeno slices and green olives. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese over top and then bake for 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden.
- Cut into 6-8 pizzas and serve immediately.
TIPS
- If you don’t have a pizza stone, you can use a pizza steel or even a baking sheet.
