For the sage cinnamon simple syrup:

½ cup sugar

½ cup water

2 cinnamon sticks

4 large sage leaves

For one pear & sage spritz mocktail:

2 oz pear juice

1 ½ oz Ceder’s Wild

1 oz sage cinnamon simple syrup

½ oz lemon juice

2 oz tonic water

Garnish with fresh pear slices and fresh sage leaves

Instructions

  1. Make the sage and cinnamon simple syrup: add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a small pot with 4 sage leaves and 2 cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil over high heat and then turn to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes to infuse. Remove the cinnamon sticks and sage leaves and store the simple syrup in an airtight container.
  2. To make one mocktail: to a cocktail shaker or mason jar with a lid add the pear juice, Ceder’s Wild, sage cinnamon simple syrup and lemon juice. Add a handful of ice and shake for 10-20 seconds.
  3. Add ice cubes to a low cocktail glass. Pour in the mocktail and top with tonic water. Garnish with pear slices and fresh sage leaves. Cheers and enjoy!

TIPS

Make the sage cinnamon simple syrup ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
